 Dr. Jacques Lamon is the Director of Research at the National Center of Scientific Research (CNRS), University of Bordeaux, France. He has been a member of ACerS since 1983, and was elevated to Fellow in 2006. His current focus of research is fiber reinforced ceramic matrix composites, including probabilistic approaches to damage and failure, durability, fracture, interfaces, micromechanics, and modeling.
