The 15th International Conference on the Textures of Materials (ICOTOM)
 A Message from ICOTOM 15 Conference Chair:
The conference has attracted strong interest from the community. As of early February, we have 302 oral presentations and 80 posters, based on 293 unique presenters.
The international representation is very strong indeed at approximately 70% of the abstracts. These numbers are close to the capacity for the space that we have (which a few of you will remember from the 1998 Grain Growth conference).
Registration for the conference is now available so reserve your spot today. You are particularly encouraged to participate in one or more of the short courses (or have your students do so).
ICOTOM Preliminary Program The Proceedings will be available at the conference (included with registration) with a hard copy to follow (for extra cost). Papers will be indexed in Cambridge Scientific Abstracts and possibly other databases. The main reason for taking this approach is simply an economy measure in that recent experience has indicated that conventional hardcopy sets of proceedings can substantially raise the registration price.
