Registration Options

To register for the ICOTOM 15 Conference, please select one of the options below. 

Conference proceedings on CD are included in the registration fee along with welcome reception and dinner cruise, except for One Day registrations.

*Boxed lunches are being offered to attendees as a quick lunch option onsite during the conference. If you choose not to purchase the boxed lunches the next available dining options will be at least ¼ mile of a walk from the University Center or a car will be needed to drive off site.  Boxed lunches include choice of a roast beef, turkey breast, or ham sandwich served on a Kaiser roll with whole fruit, cookies, potato chips, and a soda. A vegetarian option is also available consisting of hummus with pita and Tabbouleh served with whole fruit, cookies, potato chips, and a soda. Sandwich choices will be available on a first-come, first served basis.

Conference Dinner and River Cruise

Experience Pittsburgh from the Monongahela, Allegheny, and Ohio Rivers while enjoying dinner and fellow attendee’s companionship on Wednesday, June 4th.  Buses will transport attendees from The University Center at Carnegie Mellon University to the docks of the Gateway Clipper Fleet at 4 PM. 

Boarding of the Party Liner vessel will be from 5 PM to 5:30 PM.  Dinner and the river tour will take approximately two and a half hours.  Buses will depart the Gateway Clipper Fleet docks at 8 PM and return to The University Center at approximately 9 PM.  Space is limited on the vessel and available on a first come, first serve basis.
 

NOTE: Because space is limited on the Dinner Cruise, you must sign up in advance of the meeting to secure a spot on the boat.  Currently, only conference attendees can guarantee a space on the river dinner cruise.  Companions may purchase a ticket for the river dinner cruise if space permits at ON-SITE registration for $75.00. Please contact Liz Roehl at eroehl@ceramics.org to secure your reservation for the dinner cruise.

Short Courses

Prior to the start of ICOTOM 15 we will be offering seven short courses on a variety of textures topics ranging from in-depth theoretical reviews to hands-on training courses. You can attend this "Summer School on Texture" for an additional fee of $100 for a half day or $150 for the full day.   More details

Conference Internet Access

Public internet access will not be available to meeting attendees at The University Center located on Carnegie Mellon University during the ICOTOM conference.  The conference is purchasing a limited number of internet accounts for attendees.  If you would like to have an internet account assigned to you, please contact Liz Roehl at eroehl@ceramics.org.  Internet accounts will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
