Heinz Chapel Tour & Demonstration Thursday, June 5th – 8 PM to 9:30 PM
Join Tony and Rebecca Rollett for a fun and information lecture at Heinz Chapel. Located within walking distance of Carnegie Mellon University, the building is typical of American academic and religious architecture from about 1900 until after World War II with a modified cruciform plan, stone vaults, high ceilings, repeated arches, and extensive use of glass. Tony will discuss the materials used in the creation of Heinz Chapel and the materials used to create organs. Rebecca will play the organ for your musical enjoyment.
