Sintering Conference Optional Tour
  Free time has been planned during The International Conference on Sintering technical program for Tuesday, November 18th. An optional tour has been arranged for attendees who would like to tour San Diego on Tuesday afternoon. San Diego By Land And Sea Tour Tuesday, November 18th This unique tour combines a personal glimpse at San Diego’s History, military history and an up-close look at one of the world’s most beautiful harbors. On this tour you will enjoy such areas as Balboa Park, considered to be San Diego’s cultural center, Historic Old Town known as the birthplace of California and the beautiful waterfront. Then see San Diego from a totally different perspective, cruising the calm waters of the bay from a coastguard certified yacht. During this one hour Harbor Tour enjoy panoramic views of the San Diego city skyline and see modern US Naval vessels, the historic and majestic Star of India, bustling shipyards, the spectacular Coronado Bay Bridge, awesome aircraft carriers, glamorous yachts and so much more After the Harbor Tour climb aboard The San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum and discover “Midway Magic.” Tour Cost: $73.50 per person Tour Includes: Round trip transportation, admission to the San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum, customized narrated tour of Balboa Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, and Old Town, a one hour harbor tour of the San Diego Bay, water, snacks, and fruit.
