Choudhary’s contributions in this field have been recognized by numerous awards, publications, and invited lectures in international forums. His research has tackled a broad range of topics such as batch reactions, melting, forming, and environmental emissions, and his projects have provided the foundation for some of the most important advances in glass melting technology at Owens Corning during the last 25 years. Dr. Choudhary has been a leader in linking transport phenomena and materials research with engineering to develop innovative products and processes. Personal Background: Why Manoj K. Choudhary belongs to ACerS: “At the time I joined ACerS, I also belonged to several professional organizations. Thanks to great mentors and friends I found here, I decided to make ACerS my “home”. ACerS meetings, conferences, and symposia have contributed significantly to my professional growth. These forums dealt with scientific/technical topics of high relevance to my work at Owens Corning. Professional networks I established through ACerS have been a great resource for me and my colleagues at Owens Corning. Furthermore, ACerS has given me many rewarding opportunities for service and leadership. Above all, through ACerS I have met individuals whom, it is my honor and privilege, to call friends.” |
